I have Vista installed on Drive G: (from XP or XP64 my two other OS's). Upon bootup of Vista it shifts drive letters and maps itself on C:
Now I can live with that but happens if I move/delete other drives? I have XP on C: but as of now it is trashed and I'm considering getting rid of it totally. Drive F: is XP64 and I'd be interested in having Vista is my primary where XP used to be and using XP64 for those things Vista can't do yet.
Comments on my options would be appreciated.

Installed on Drive G:, boots up as C:
The drive designations are specific to the OS running.

You can't delete the system volume. I don't know how the Vista loader identifies drives and partitions, but that is something you should know before you delete or move drives or partitions.
